SPRNT X8 – Full-Size Electric Performance Without the Excess
Serious Power. Confident Handling. Trail-Ready Performance.
Meet the SPRNT X8 by Throne Cycles, a full-size electric dirt bike built for riders who want serious power, confident handling, and trail-ready performance.
Powered by an 18kW mid-mounted motor and a 72V 60Ah lithium battery with LG cells, the X8 delivers strong acceleration, impressive climbing ability, and a top speed of up to 70 mph.
It combines aggressive electric performance with full-size dirt bike geometry, long-travel suspension, and a forged aluminum chassis built to handle demanding terrain.
18kW of Mid-Mounted Power
The SPRNT X8 is powered by an air-cooled 18kW mid-mounted motor designed to provide strong, responsive power throughout the ride. With up to 147 Nm of peak torque, the X8 delivers quick launches, smooth midrange pull, and the strength needed to tackle steep climbs and rough terrain.
The mid-mounted motor position also helps keep the bike balanced and controlled, whether you’re accelerating out of a turn or navigating technical sections.
Four Selectable Power Modes
-
High Mode – Maximum performance
-
Drive Mode – Everyday riding
-
Eco Mode – Extended efficiency
-

Forged Aluminum Construction
The X8 chassis and swingarm are constructed from No. 6061 T4 and T6 aluminum and forged under 3,000 tons of pressure. This creates a rigid and durable platform designed to remain stable under acceleration, braking, jumps, and uneven terrain. A baked-paint finish helps protect the frame while giving the bike a clean, premium appearance.
Long-Travel Suspension
-
Front: Inverted suspension fork with 240mm of travel
-
Rear: KKE suspension link system
-
Ground Clearance: 300mm (11.8 in)
This setup is designed to absorb hard impacts, changing terrain, and uneven surfaces while helping the bike remain planted and predictable.

Barry Y 🇺🇸 –
Half the Price, 90% of the Performance
I own a Surron Storm Bee. I bought the SPRNT X8 as a backup/trail bike for friends to ride. Honestly? The X8 makes me question why I paid so much for the Storm.
The 18kW mid-drive motor is positioned at the swingarm pivot, which gives it proper weight distribution — it feels planted and balanced in a way that cheaper e-motos don’t . The 72V 60Ah LG battery is massive (4,320Wh), and the range is genuinely all-day . The forged 6061 aluminum frame feels stiff and confidence-inspiring at speed.
Is it as refined as the Storm? No. The suspension isn’t quite as plush, and the brakes aren’t quite as strong. But at $4,999 vs $8,000+, the value proposition is undeniable . Torque Rides shipped it fast and answered all my questions before I ordered.
